Q You have now learned about 1 sample and 2 sample tests on proportions. Discuss how you will be able to know which method to use when faced with a scenario regarding proportions.
1 sample tests are used when we are trying to find a parameter for one group, whereas a 2 sample test we are trying to find a parameter and compare two different groups to each other. 1 sample is to see if one group's mean compares to the null value, and 2 sample is to see if 2 different samples have the same mean.
